Philadelphia, July 8.  On Tuesday morning passed through
this city on his way to New York John Macpherson, Esq., Aid
de Camp to General Schyler.
On Seeing Major Mifflin at a Review of the Third Battalion
of the Philadelphia Militia.
  Arm'd like a Goddess brave Achilles stood, 
  Fierce as a whirlwind, fearless as a God.--
  Thus Mifflin with his mighty arm, shall show
  Death and destruction to his country's foe.
